Returns and Refund Policy

Game and Bounce provides arcade game hire services to individuals and businesses for events, parties, and activations. Our priority is to ensure your experience is seamless, safe, and fun. This policy outlines how we handle equipment faults, cancellations, and refunds in a way that is fair to both the customer and Game and Bounce.

All machines are tested prior to delivery. Most machines are plug-and-play and require standard power points. Some units have coin mechanisms but still operate in free-play mode unless otherwise specified.

If a machine experiences a fault that is not caused by the hirer and it affects its usability:
- If the fault occurs during setup or delivery, and cannot be rectified, you may receive a full refund or substitute (if available).
- If the fault occurs during your hire period, you may be eligible for a partial refund or a credit towards a future hire, based on the extent and timing of the fault.

To report a fault during your hire, please call the number displayed on the machine immediately. We will do our best to troubleshoot the issue quickly.

Once the machines are set up, the hirer is responsible for their care and safety.

By paying a deposit, the hirer agrees to payment of a Bond upon delivery of the hired items. The bond amount is listed on the invoice. The hirer acknowledges that any damage caused by the hirer during the hire period will be charged to the hirer on invoice should the damage exceed the amount of bond paid.

Damages caused by guests, misuse, water exposure, outdoor storage, or power overloads (e.g. power boards) may result in fees being charged to the stored card.

Delivery is included in your hire, and setup will be completed by our team.

Machines must be delivered to a ground-floor space with clear access no more than 50 metres from where the delivery van can park. Doorways, hallways, and access points must be wide enough to accommodate the machine(s).

If access is unsuitable or unsafe and not pre-checked by the hirer, delivery may be forfeited with no refund. Please confirm access suitability before booking.

All machines are designed for indoor use only. They must be kept in dry, secure, and weather-protected environments.

Exposure to rain, extreme heat, cold, or other weather conditions may result in equipment damage and cancellation of your refund eligibility. No compensation will be provided for weather-related misuse.

- **7+ days notice**: Full refund or reschedule (subject to availability)
- **3–6 days notice**: 50% refund or credit for future hire
- **Less than 72 hours**: No refund, unless otherwise agreed at our discretion

Please contact us as early as possible if your event details change. We will do our best to accommodate where feasible.

If we cannot deliver due to our own fault or vehicle breakdown, we will offer a full refund or reschedule.

However, if delivery is prevented due to incorrect or unclear information provided by the hirer (e.g. stairs, poor access, long distance from parking), no refund will be issued.

All eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after agreement.

Where appropriate, a credit for future use may also be offered in place of a refund.
